Yes, we are open today and tomorrow ☀️ After Labor Day, we will be updating our operations schedule from now through the end of the Summer 2026 season.

OPEN 7 days/week: Chair 1 (MTB/Scenic Lift) and Summit House Bar and Grill. The Base Lodge Ticket counter will also remain open 7 days/week.

Open Saturday/Sunday ONLY: All activities, Chairs 6 & 10, all Base Lodge services.

All regular operational hours will remain the same. The Lodging Front Desk will change hours on Monday, 9/7:

- Saturday-Thursday 8 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
- Friday-Sat: 8 a.m. - 9:30 p.m.

Programs release TOMORROW, Sept 1st ⛷️🏂

As a reminder, we have staggered our release times:

• Freestyle Team registration will open at 9:30 a.m.
• All other programs will open at 12:30 p.m.

Please be aware that space will be limited and demand is high. You can find registration at the link in our profile 🔗

Our winter programs include the Buckaroos, Half Pints, Development Team, Freestyle Team, and adult skiing and riding programs.

For 2-Payment Plans, you must register online. We cannot set up payment plans for programs in person or over the phone.

We can’t wait for another winter season and all of the amazing memories it will bring! This time of year is always exciting for us and we can’t wait to see you up on the mountain!

We saw a bear today 🧸👀

One of our furry friends, Phil, was spotted riding our Scenic Lift Rides! Seems like Phil is a bit lazy, doing as little work as possible to make his way to the berry patches ⛰️🫐

In all seriousness, Big Mountain is bear terrain! Please take the necessary precautions and be bear aware! This includes making noise, hiking in a group and carrying bear spray. Leashing all pets is required.

One week until programs release! Please read the caption for all information ⛷️

Winter 2026-2027 programs will be releasing on September 1st, and we are doing things a little bit differently this year. Sign-up times will now be staggered to ensure we have technological capacity to process the large numbers of enrollments simultaneously.

• Freestyle Team registration will open at 9:30 a.m.

• All other programs will open at 12:30 p.m.

Please be aware that space will be limited and demand is high. You will be able to find the link to all information and registration at the link in our (bio/profile).
Follow these steps to make signing up as seamless as possible:

• First, visit skiwhitefish.com/programs to see program details and requirements, and decide what you want to sign up for.

• Then, sign waivers in advance! Follow the link in the Programs webpage to shop.skiwhitefish.com where you can log in and complete your waivers in advance.

• On Sept. 1, log into shop.skiwhitefish.com and be prepared to complete the registration process. You may need to refresh your web browser for programs to appear at the designated times.

For 2-Payment Plans, you must register online. We cannot set up payment plans for programs in person or over the phone.

You may be aware that program registration is taking place later than it did in past years. We decided to implement this new timeline after assessing demand for each of our programs, as well as preseason dropout rates and other factors that complicated enrollment.

Our goal is to provide you and your families more time to understand your school, work and sports schedules without needing to enroll in skiing and snowboarding programs many months in advance.

We also worked with our e-commerce provider to increase traffic capacity, helping ensure faster store response times. While we still anticipate high demand for limited space in our most popular programs, we believe this new strategy will deliver the best possible experience for our guests. Thank you for your flexibility!
