Over the last week, a surprising theme has emerged in conversations, comments, emails, a Patreon discussion, and even a local poetry reading: Many people have realized they do not know what they want. And instead of shame... there has been relief.
Because perhaps the question is not: "Why don't I know what I want?"
Perhaps the question is: "When was I ever given the space to discover it?"

Over the last week, many highly sensitive people, empaths, intuitives, and sensory beings have felt emotionally overwhelmed, exhausted, disoriented, disconnected from themselves, or unable to access their usual sense of internal coherence.
I do not believe this is simply emotional overwhelm.

I believe many people are experiencing the destabilization of an identity structure built around survival, adaptation, hypervigilance, caretaking, and reading external energy. The old coherence is dissolving before the new coherence has fully formed.
