🌎 World Environment Day reminds us that some of life's best classrooms don't have four walls.

They're found in the rustle of the trees.
The warmth of the sun.
The smell of fresh earth.
And the quiet presence of a horse. 🧡

This summer, our campers will spend their days immersed in nature, building confidence, learning new skills, and creating connections that last long after camp ends.

☀️ Summer Camp registration is open now.
🐴 Camps 4, 5, 6 & 7 are already full.

Come discover what can happen when kids have room to roam, explore, and grow.

🌟 Volunteer of the Month – Barbara 🌟

We’re so excited to recognize Barbara as our Volunteer of the Month at Two Bear Therapeutic Riding Center!

When Barbara isn’t at the ranch, you can find her doing what she loves most:

“Having my family together enjoying food, games, and laughter.”

That same joy and warmth shows up in everything she brings to TBTRC. 💛

One moment that really stuck with her:

“I have seen so many amazing moments at TBTRC, but one session really brought it all together for me. While prepping, the horse was unusually distracted—shifting his feet and looking around, so out of character. Meanwhile, the rider was, as staff would say, ‘wiggly’ and a little loud. But as the rider came up to greet the horse (the ‘horsey handshake’), they instantly bonded, and a sense of calm settled over all of us… including me. The staff is always so calm and amazing!”

It’s moments like these that remind us how powerful connection can be. 🐎

If Barbara had to describe TBTRC in three words:

“Peace, smiles, connection.”

Barbara, thank you for the kindness, positivity, and heart you bring to the ranch. We are so grateful for you! 💙

As Mental Health Awareness Month begins to wind down, we’ve spent May sharing something we witness every day at the ranch: connection heals. 🧡

We’ve shared stories, celebrated partnerships, and talked about the powerful role horses can play in emotional well-being through the Horses for Mental Health Campaign.

But for us, this work doesn’t end when the calendar turns to June.

Every week, individuals arrive at the ranch carrying stress, uncertainty, overwhelm, and challenges that aren’t always visible. And every week, we watch confidence grow, trust deepen, and connection begin to take root.

That is the work.
That is the impact.
And this community makes it possible.

As we enter the final week of the campaign, there is still time to support this work through a donation:

🍻Or join us on June 3 at Blackstar Brewery for Pint Night, where $1 from every pint sold will be donated to Two Bear Therapeutic Riding Center. Come raise a glass with us and help continue creating spaces where people feel seen, supported, and connected.

Thank you for believing in the power of horses, connection, and one another.

Connection heals. We see it every day. 🧡

We watch individuals arrive feeling unsure, overwhelmed, or disconnected... and then we witness something shift. Through partnership with horses, people build confidence, regulate emotions, strengthen communication, and discover a sense of belonging.

But this work doesn’t stop with the individual. Families report stronger relationships. School and social dynamics improve.

As part of the 2026 Horses for Mental Health Campaign, we’re raising funds to ensure these experiences remain accessible to everyone who needs them. Donations support scholarships, herd care, and program access so that cost never becomes a barrier.

Thank you for helping us create connection, confidence, and hope one relationship at a time.
