Celebrating a big 17-4 win on Monday night for our Dominican High School baseball team at Kapco Park on the campus of Concordia University Wisconsin! Our Knights got a strong pitching performance from sophomore Colin Flaherty, and hit early and often to score more than enough runs to get the victory. Here, freshman short stop and powerful lefty hitter Levi Kolb turns on a fastball and crushes it down the right-field line, coming about 10 feet short of a home run. He would settle for a triple and knock in two runs.

So proud of Dominican High School freshman, Fiona Fouliard, who continued her stellar first year as a Knight by qualifying for and competing in the prestigious “Hale Distance Night” freshmen girls’ meet at West Allis Nathan Hale High School this past Friday. The event is live-streamed statewide and features elite student-athlete representatives from high schools across Wisconsin.

In order to qualify, Fiona ran a sub-6 minute mile pace in a 1600 meter event this season. On Friday, accompanied by Dominican teammate, Addison Drifka and Assistant Coach, Aaron Pierce, Fiona was seeded 13th in her heat of 16 athletes in the event and ultimately finished 10th!

Congrats, Fiona, and keep up the amazing work!

Congratulations, Dee Marie -- as Coach Schramka said best, there is no one more qualified or prepared for this opportunity to lead our Dominican High School girls' basketball program to continued success! We are so excited for you and our Knights!

And, to Coach Kevin Schramka...THANK YOU! We are all so grateful for your athletic leadership these past two decades. Your success on the court and in helping to develop young women of integrity and character has had a lasting impact on our school community.

Congrats to our Dominican High School girls’ soccer team on their big 5-0 win on Palermo’s Field tonight! Our Knights were led by senior Captain, Maria Emmerich, who notched 4(!!!!) goals in the game, including this nifty score early in the second half of play.

Dominican High School Senior, Amare Nixon, broke our school High Jump record today during the University School of Milwaukee Track & Field Meet. Amare had an AMAZING jump of 6’4”!!!

Dominican High School Senior, Lily Weiler, entered today’s Varsity softball game as the all-time leader in strikeouts for a Knights’ pitcher. She reached another milestone in the 1st inning of today’s game, notching her 500th(!!) career strikeout! WOW!! We are so proud of Lily and grateful for all her impact upon and contributions to our Dominican softball program!

This Lent, our Dominican High School Campus Ministry and Student-Athlete Leadership Team proudly partnered on the leadership of a sports equipment and apparel collection, on behalf of Globall Giving. Globall, a Milwaukee-based nonprofit, has sent over 55 tons of sporting equipment and apparel to kids in 35 countries since its launch in 2012. What a blessing to contribute to such an impactful organization and inspiring cause!

It was “Teacher Appreciation Night” at Kapco Field on the campus of Concordia University Wisconsin, and our Dominican High School Knights gift-wrapped a big 19-9 victory for all our Dominican staff in attendance! Here in the bottom half of the 1st inning, Junior right fielder Jimmy Weiler delivered a huge run-scoring single to center field, knocking in two and launching a big nine-run frame for our Knights.
