❤️🖤 The response to our recent announcement has shown us one thing very clearly — people still care about the WSS Falcons.

We’ve read the comments, messages and memories being shared, and while we weren’t able to field teams this season, we don’t want this to be where the story ends.

So we’re already looking ahead to 2027.

If you have a child who may be interested in Falcons football or cheer next year, or if you would be willing to coach, volunteer, help recruit, or simply be part of rebuilding the program, please comment below or send our page a message.

This isn’t a commitment or registration — we simply want to start connecting with families early and see what we can build together.

There is obviously still a lot of love for the Falcons in this community. ❤️🖤

Let’s turn that support into a comeback.

This is from a board member personal page and she has been a parent in this league for many years. This is just a clarification to some of the non-informed rumors and comments that have been made to date. We feel she has said it best.

Unfortunately, we just didn’t have the numbers needed to move forward with a Falcons season this year. Because of that, we’ve signed waivers for our players and cheerleaders so they can continue with other teams.

We’re thankful for every family who showed up and supported the program, and we truly hope to give it another try next year.

🏈📣 Falcons Practice Starts Monday! 📣🏈

Football and cheer practice begins Monday, August 3 and will be held for five days, from 5:30–7:30 PM each evening at Memorial Park in White Sulphur Springs.

There’s still time to become part of the Falcon family—sign-ups will remain open throughout the week!

Please remember to:
👟 Wear tennis shoes
💧 Bring a filled water bottle
❤️ Come ready to learn, work hard, and have fun!

The WSS Falcons are holding FREE Football & Cheer Sign-Ups on Thursday, July 30 from 5:30–7:30 PM at the Union Hall parking lot!

We welcome new and returning athletes:

🏈 Flag: Ages 4–5
🏈 Peanut: Ages 6–7
🏈 JV: Ages 8–9
🏈 Varsity: Ages 10–11

Come meet us, ask questions, and get your child registered for the upcoming season. Our league is completely free!

‼️🏈 An Important Message to White Sulphur Springs and Our Surrounding Communities 🏈‼️

The WSS Falcons have proudly served local children for many years, providing a free opportunity to stay active, build confidence, learn teamwork, and make lasting friendships.

Unfortunately, football participation is currently lower than we would like. If we are unable to form teams this season, it could put the future of the league at risk and may result in there being no Falcons football and cheer program next year.

Registration is open to children ages 4–11 from White Sulphur Springs and surrounding communities, including Lewisburg, Maxwelton, Williamsburg, Frankford, Renick, Caldwell, Alderson, Callaghan, Covington, Clifton Forge, Crows, and Hematite.

Every player matters. Please help us spread the word and keep Falcons football strong.
