Well we did it! We finally got to experience the Smith as a family. It was Bodie’s 5th or 6th time and it was mine and the kids’ 1st time. 10/10. Wildly recommend. Here are the clif notes:

🏞️ We experienced the full range of what the Smith has to offer for weather options 🤓 Snow, rain, hail, sunshine, wind. We had it all. A well rounded experience 👍🏻
🏞️The Smith River corridor is another world. I still can’t quite understand how it’s right here in Central Montana. Meagher County/Cascade County. What a masterpiece hidden in the most unsuspecting place.
🏞️ This is the kind of place that humbles you and makes you realize how incredible nature and time are. I am but a blip in the presence of those limestone giants.
🏞️God bless Bodie Morrison for bringing our ice tent and buddy heater. 10/10. No notes.
🏞️God bless the person who invented hand warmers. Gold star for you.
🏞️Ivan (our 4 year old) THRIVED in the river/camping lifestyle.
🏞️I don’t recommend bringing a 2 year old but we survived 🙃 bring the 2 year old if it means going on the trip instead of not going on the trip 😉
🏞️ My boring 5 minute video isn’t going to give you the experience so you better JUST GO. Highly recommend 🤠

I’m trying to make backpacking a thing in Meagher County 🤠 if you love camping and hiking, this might be your thing! New products are here to lighten your load while in the backcountry and many are helpful in any type of outdoor situation!
