Established in 1939, The Mount Adams Fish and Game Association is a gun club based in White Salmon, WA. Our facility is located in Jewett Creek Park and features in indoor pistol range and an outdoor 100-yard rifle range with a trap house. We are an active club and meet monthly to plan future events such as trap shoots, bowling pin shoots, and educational classes. Our members come from the Columbi

The outdoor range is closed until further notice due to the obvious dryness and continued heat in our area. The indoor range is still available. We hope to get the leak fixed in the water line so we can begin to properly water the range area and restore the water to the toilets! The officers and the board members appreciate your patience and cooperation during this difficult process.

The outdoor range is now officially open! It has been a confusing battle but it is finally over for this year at least. The official letters from both the West Klickitat Fire Marshall and the city will be posted at the range just in case. Enjoy and be safe!

Members,
As of today, August 11th, the outdoor range is closed due to extreme fire danger. The indoor range will still be open for pistol shooting but, as you all know, long rifles of any kind are not allowed. We usually shut down when the Kreps close their property but I had not heard from them. I was contacted by the BWSPD who, in conjunction with the Fire Chief, agree that we should comply.
I appreciate your cooperation and I would suggest that we Pray for Rain!!!

Members,

The outdoor range closure is temporarily lifted depending on the weather conditions. The exceptional rainstorm and the cooler weather should be adequate to allow its use. The Kreps property is still closed to hiking and I would expect that you, as members, will respect that and stay on club property. With hunting season opening in 2 months, I am sure there are many of you who would like to get your fi****ms on target.

The officers and board members trust that all will exercise good judgement while using the range. The Fire Ban pertains to "open" burning, which is not allowed anywhere on club property and has never been an issue except for 1 or 2 controlled burns during regular clean-up.

The Kreps' have informed us that they are closing their ranch property due to the high fire danger. There are also numerous fires burning in the gorge, the latest and closest being near Bickleton, east of Goldendale. Because of this, we will be closing down the outdoor range until further notice. The indoor range will remain open. We appreciate your cooperation in this matter and will let you know when things change.

Dear members,

Keith Kreps has asked that we shut the outdoor range down because of the HIGH fire danger. He has shut his land down to all hikers, bikers, etc. and we have followed his lead in the past. The indoor range will still be open from 10:00am until 10:00pm for your pistol shooting needs. (NO RIFLES) Also, this will NOT change the NRA class to be held August 26th!!! We, the officers and board members, appreciate your patience and understanding and I will notify you as soon as this changes!

It is spring and time for the Kreps Ranch to be moving their cattle to spring pasture. They will be using the trail beyond the outdoor range. I urge you to be on alert and extend them the courtesy they deserve while they are doing so. Be watching and listening for them, their livestock and their dogs! Again, BE ALERT!!!
