Tee height has a bigger impact than most golfers realize.
A higher tee can help launch the ball farther with the driver.

When the ball sits higher, you can strike it slightly on the upswing.
This usually increases launch angle and reduces excess backspin.

In this comparison, the higher tee produced more carry distance.
It also improved total distance and fairway percentage.

Lower tees often lead to more downward contact.
That can create too much spin and a lower ball flight.

For most drivers, tee the ball so half of it sits above the clubface.
This promotes a solid, high launch strike.

Always test different tee heights on the range.
Small adjustments can produce noticeable gains off the tee.
