Our swap will now have used figure and hockey skates. Skates are a huge challenge to display so our chief engineer, Dale Benedict designed a perfect skate rack. Mark DeLuca provided the space and tools. Ray Fitzsimmons and Bob Cowen completed the "build" team. Together, these four patrollers have more than 210 years of volunteering on the ski patrol. If you skate (or know others who do), spread the word about skates being at our swap on the first weekend in November (see SwapAV.com for details).

Peter & Marian Tsang in Phoenix. Peter was on the AVSP for many years then retired to Las Vegas and later moved to Phoenix. An unexpected meeting with Bob & Karen Cowen on 1/18/2024 at the elevators in a hotel lobby. What a neat surprise! We talked for more than an hour trying to catch up. They send their greetings to all AVSP members (active and retired).
