Tough decision ….but

With the storm predicted to hit tonight from 5-9:30–and with last night’s tornado in Goodlettsville —we feel that out of an abundance of caution—we should close the dojo tonight. Our make up classes will be held this coming Saturday at 9am. Sensei Miller will teach the adults in the front training room and Sensei Mikey will conduct children’s classes in the back training room. Please be safe!

With conditions not improving much from yesterday we will be closing to day (1/28). Hopefully with the sun shining we will be able to open tomorrow. Try to get some kata and basics in at home, especially you young people!

Needless to say we think it best to not have class tonight (1/26). Stay warm, be safe!
V-Force: Get some cardio and strengthen in each day. 33 days before our first tournament. Sensei Mikey ‘s Monday and Wednesday training will really be necessary now!

VForce tryouts commence!! Go VForce!!

VMA students—it’s that time of year—-VForce Team tryouts!!
If you are considering becoming a member to compete in Olympic style sport karate mark your calendar for THIS coming Saturday (1/10). You will train with the existing team from 10am to noon. Bring your informal workout clothes, a gi, mouthpiece , cup ( if male) and your safety equipment plus a snack and sport drink. After the workout—we will host a team meeting (for existing and potential) team members and provide you a team information packet. At least one parent ( if you’re under 18) will need to be in attendance.
Existing team members , I expect you to be there ready for the best season we’ve ever had. You have the experience! VForce on 3!

What an amazing day! A record setting for my office! We helped finalize adoptions for 11 families with a total of 21 children! The first annual Sumner County Adoption Day 2025 was such a success! It would not have been possible without these three amazing ladies by my side and and amazing clients, case workers, courthouse staff and judges. More pictures coming soon once permission is received from families!
