1. Consistency: The #1 Challenge

For many women, the biggest struggle isn’t starting a workout—it's sticking with it. Life gets busy, motivation fades, and workouts often get bumped to the bottom of the to-do list. In fitness terms, consistency means showing up for yourself regularly, even when it's not convenient. Without it, progress stalls, goals feel out of reach, and frustration builds. It's not about going hard every day—it's about creating a rhythm that fits your life and keeps you moving forward, one workout at a time.

2. Accountability: The #2 Roadblock

The second biggest challenge is accountability—having someone (or something) to keep you on track. When you're going it alone, it's easy to skip a session, cut a workout short, or lose focus. Accountability in exercise terms looks like a coach checking in, a friend texting "gym today?", or a program that tracks your progress and celebrates your wins. It's the gentle push that keeps you going when motivation drops.

I’ve been here and know the challenges women face as wives, mothers, full time caregivers, business owners, etc. We are pulled in many different directions and sometimes need a hand to hold to start our fitness journeys. This morning I hit a personal goal of mine in the gym & am feeling pretty pumped up! 🤪
Ladies, this took me months to hit. Training and healthy choices are hard but attainable if you are consistent and don’t give up. Set small goals, let those goals motivate you to set bigger ones. Dont get overwhelmed, it’s a marathon, not a race. You CAN do it!
Get your coffee and hit those goals this morning!

My summer taught me THIS about the every day woman & mom - consistency & motivation are their hardest factors to push through when trying to develop an exercise routine.

I get it! When your days look different every day, when your toddler wakes up too early and you’re exhausted, when you’re just ā€˜not feeling right’, & the task seems SO overwhelming. I’ve been there! I’ve had all of these moments (still do) & I’ve learned having accountability is really what I’ve found that keeps most women still IN IT.
YOU guys, my clients, keep me accountable. Sometimes we just need a little guidance on the how to’s, but other times we need someone holding our hands alongside us in our fitness journey to work toward our goals.

I can be your girl if you find yourself in this season of life right now! I’ve walked it & I know the struggle is REAL.

5:30 wake up for workout & 2 clients…. When I say it was HARD, it was HARD! I also love waking to a sick puppy who made 3 not so fun messes for me to clean up šŸ™„ā€¦. Feeling unmotivated and tired?! Same.
Kids home, holiday week, maybe some not so great eating making us lethargic?
Need some advice to get back to it? Get an accountability partner! Get up and move even when you don’t feel like it. Open your Bible before the workout and sip some coffee after. You CAN do it!

For all my moms who are struggling to stay consistent this summer, I feel you! I’ve had to wake up way too early to get my workouts in before my kids wake up and most days it’s a struggle! But, šŸ‘†šŸ¼ I AM so glad it’s over for the day when I’m finished so I’m not stressed about when to get it in! AND I feel GREAT! Here’s what I did this morning for leg day… 3 sets of each, 15 reps each - yes, 15 reps each single leg exercise šŸ„“ā€¦with a few core exercises thrown in.
