The White Cloud Varsity Softball team had an extraordinary opportunity to visit Ferris State University today. They engaged with the head softball coach, explored the sports complex, and connected with the defensive coordinator for Ferris football. The team challenged themselves in an ROTC obstacle course and capped off the day by attending a Ferris softball game. We are profoundly grateful to everyone who played a role in making this inspiring day a resounding success.

I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who came out to support our Softball Bingo Fundraiser. Thanks to your generosity and enthusiasm, we had an incredible turnout and successfully raised a little over $3,000 during our second Bingo Night event. Your support truly makes a difference for our program.

The Lady Indians win pre-district game last night and advance to district play this Friday at 10am against Pentwater. 🧡🥎🖤

Game Recap:
White Cloud Varsity Indians Win In Fashion, Walk It Off Versus MCE Cardinals

It came down to the wire on Tuesday, as White Cloud Varsity Indians grabbed the victory in walk-off fashion, 5-4, over MCE Cardinals. The game was tied at four in the bottom of the seventh when Tehyah Nickoloff grounded out, scoring one run.

White Cloud Varsity Indians opened the scoring in the second after a passed ball scored one run.

A double by Avery Crawford gave MCE Cardinals the lead, 2-1, in the top of the third.

White Cloud Varsity Indians took the lead in the bottom of the fifth inning after Nickoloff singled down the right field line, and MCE Cardinals committed an error, each scoring one run.

In the top of the seventh inning, MCE Cardinals went back into the lead after Bridget Whitaker tripled to right field, and White Cloud Varsity Indians committed an error, each scoring one run.

White Cloud Varsity Indians took the lead in the bottom of the seventh inning after Keira Baker doubled to right field, and Nickoloff grounded out, each scoring one run.

Emily Hedlund got the win for White Cloud Varsity Indians. The starter surrendered six hits and four runs (one earned) over six and two-thirds innings, striking out five and walking five.

Nickoloff and Baker were a one-two punch in the lineup, as each drove in one run for White Cloud Varsity Indians. Kenzie Norberg went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead White Cloud Varsity Indians in hits. White Cloud Varsity Indians turned two double plays in the game.
