What an incredible day at the 2026 16th BELGA Frozen Golf Event.
To our volunteers, attendees, sponsors, and friends, THANK YOU! The weather could not have been more beautiful, the entertainment was top notch, our volunteers were absolutely on point, and every single person who showed up made all the hard work worth it.
This event is deeply personal to me and my family. We host BELGA in honor of my brother, Sean and the joy and community he’s found through Highland Friendship Club and Special Olympics Minnesota Flames. The funds raised ensure these programs continue and that individuals who need financial assistance can participate fully. I’m thrilled to share $3,500 was donated!!!
A very special shout out to the Buskirk, Kenny, and Knack families for their unwavering support of this event year after year. Your commitment means more than you know.
We also want to address something that happened the day of the event. Our neighbor had yard signs go missing. We were saddened to hear this and would feel terrible if anyone associated with our gathering was involved. We respect freedom of speech and the right to express differing views. If anyone saw or knows anything, please reach out to Kelly or David directly. We truly hope this was not connected to our group, as the spirit of BELGA has always been rooted in friendship, generosity, and community.
