Lakewood Hills Disc Golf Course is a well rounded, well maintained disc golf course with a variety of 18 open and wooded holes. Chainstar baskets. Started out as a 14 hole course and was completed to 18 thanks to volunteer efforts and city funding. This disc golf course is taken care of by a group of volunteers who love and work hard for this course. We are very proud to be able to say that Lakewood Hills Disc Golf Course has become one of the top courses in the Twins Cities Metro.

This Saturday, May 5th from 7 am to 9 am is our annual course clean up/maintenance day! We are looking for any and all volunteers to help pick up garbage and spread wood chips on the greens. It takes a lot of work to make Lakewood look good and you can be a part of it! Please comment below if you can make it!

Ok everybody, I know a lot of the people here are beer lovers so this is the last time I will post this shameless plug for the Beerfest fundraiser I'm running for my fire department. As you may have noticed we had a group of young, (unfortunately) adults play the course and decide to trash it. Kicking over trash cans, breaking bottles on the tee pads, and even throwing landscaping rocks onto the tee pads. Luckily there wasn't much actual damage, just trash. They were stopped by a few regular players before things got even more out of hand.

I like to think LHDGC is one of the cleaner public courses in the area. This is mostly because of the great volunteers we have that pick up trash every round they go out. So with that said, the next time you go out to play a round, whether it's at Lakewood or any course, do it a favor and pick up at least one piece of trash. If everybody did that our courses would be so much cleaner. If you see people trashing a course call them out on it or call the police. AND THROW YOUR GARBAGE IN A GARBAGE CAN!

Finally, thanks to everyone who helps keep our courses clean. It's a lot more work than people think.

The course is a little icy so be cautious out there this weekend. The tee boxes are all cleared and by the end of the weekend we should be playing on grass!!!
