We all want to living meaningful lives, and that is different for each and every one of us. Meaning comes from being able to fully participate in the activities that matter to us. To do so, we need to prioritize our health and well being.

As many of us find, this isn't easy. There are many challenges and barriers to prioritizing this.

Here at BearFitness, this is where our amazing community becomes important. It's a group of people sharing this pursuit, supporting each other, sharing the challenges, the victories, and the daily grind.

Then, it's ensuring that your physical fitness exceeds the capacity to do so.

When your fitness exceeds the demands of your ideal state of living, then you are living the physically abundant life.

Coach Hallie grew up in Indiana and moved to Minnesota in May 2023 with her husband, and two fur babies (now 3!). You can find her camping with her dog, paddle boarding, in the gym, or snuggled up with a good book. Her goal is to read 50 books in 2024, she is 30
books in 👀

Hallie has been coaching CrossFit/group fitness for just about 5 years. She fell in love with it when her dad started a CrossFit gym in 2012. She spent everyday in the gym, whether it was swinging around on the rig or lifting. She hasn’t stopped since. She has held her L1 certification for 4 years and studied fitness management and personal training.

Fun fact: Hallie spent 3 months in Africa after she graduated high school, where she most notably bungee jumped off the Victoria Falls bridge in Zimbabwe.

We have some exciting news to share!

Effective Monday, July 1st, I will be selling the gym to Dr. Jacob Salaba. Over the past 13 years, I have met so many amazing people and seen incredible transformations. Owning BearFitness has been a life-changing experience, and I am so grateful to everyone who has supported the gym over the years.

While it's with a heavy heart that I close this chapter, I'm thrilled about the future. Dr. Salaba, with his extensive knowledge of weightlifting and physical therapy, is poised to bring a new, exciting energy to BearFitness. I'm confident that he and his team will carry on BearFitness's mission, offering top-notch service and maintaining our gym as a place where people can improve their lives, blow off some steam, achieve the impossible, and build lasting friendships.

Thank you to everyone who helped make my dream of owning a gym a reality! Stay tuned, as Dr. Jake will be in touch soon with all the exciting things to come.
