Wildwood float trips guests Carl and Leah in the boat today. The “spidey” sense was going off. That place on the other side of the river that just looks so good at that moment in time. The place keeps beckoning to you to come fish it. Finally I give in and row over. Leah catches two fish pretty quickly upon pulling in. We get to the spot on the spot. Leah is blocked from making the cast so I tell Carl to hit that Dark spot by the grass. Bam. Longest smallmouth (22”) ever in my boat, a beaufiful, bronze warhorse!
