Washington County Fish and Game in Whipple, OH

Well the boy and I decided to run down Saturday for a few before the rain to see what little things we could do. Did end up getting the old playground equipment all outta there and the pipe rack out back tore out. I snagged a w**deater and cleaned up around our sign at Whipple. Hopefully better weather ahead so we can get some much needed projects done. Keep praying for better weather!!!!!!

Think we're gonna cancel the work day tomorrow. The rain we got the other night went over the dam again and its just to wet to get the equipment where we need to. We will keep eye on the weather and may get a nice day to play yet!!!

From the President.
Well got most of the mowing done at the Washington County Fish and Game club still have some w**d eating to do. Yesterday I hauled limbs that the flash flooding had left along the lake from Cherry tree to the back of the lake. So I could mow it. Still have to w**d eat along the lake edge but you can still fish from the bank
Also there is a work party planned for next weekend for those who want to come out and help.

The boy and I will have a small trackhoe, a tractor, and a dump truck there Saturday, September 12th. Hopefully get some little stuff here and there straightened up before weather breaks. The wheels in my mind are always turning 😁

Just putting a feeler out there to see if anyone has any suggestions or ideas of things or events they would like to get going or have here at the club. We would love your input or opinions!!! Message us on here or attend our monthly meeting which is the 2nd Thursday monthly. Next meeting is this coming Thursday, September 10th at 7:30 p.m. at the clubhouse. 2100 Duck Creek Rd, Whipple OH. Did little work on the shooting range this evening. Should be good for a little bit. All the rain has the lake a little muddy but looks like next week should be a little dryer. Hope everyone is enjoying their summer!!!

From the President of the Washington County Fish and Game club all of the Porta John's have been cleaned and the grounds have been mowed I still have a little w**d eating to do. But the surface of the lake is clear and easier to fish now.

From the President of the Washington County Fish and Game club the gas station at exit 6 that use to be the pit stop and is now BP has a Big order of Red worms and Night crawlers for sale prices are $4.99 and $4.79 so stop in and buy a few they need to sell them before they go bad. And while you are there pick up some snacks and drinks for your fishing trips

Don't forget ParMar 101 on south side of interstate at the cut across has memberships and goodies as well. There's still plenty of good weather left to enjoy 😃😃
Memberships are $60 / yr. Fish in stocked pond, hunting, shooting range, and camping primitive is free, electric is $20/ night with Memberships.

We want to thank each and every person that came out tonight for the fireworks. We did start a few minutes early to beat the rain. Hopefully growing a little bit we can get bigger and better in the future. Shout-out to the neighbors for shooting some off after ours so you got a double show!!!!! We are learning alot as we go.
