Washington County Fish and Game The Washington County Fish and Game offers outdoor activities for people of all ages.

We strive to provide the ultimate hunting, fishing, and camping experience. For $40 per year you can hunt 113 acres, fish 7 acres and target practice at the range.

If you are looking for a fun Fourth of July event then come on out this evening for fireworks 🎆 at the Washington County Fish & Game!

We will have live music 🎵at 8:30pm, a raffle drawing for a fire pit 🔥 and porch swing and an amazing firework show at 9:30pm! 🎇

This event is open to all to come and attend! We hope to see you there!

We are SO EXCITED for our 2024 Fishing Derby. The trustees have been at the club working to get everything ready!!

A few pointers for the fishing derby to make this the best experience:

1. Come at least 30-45 minutes before the derby starts to get checked in, set up your spot and visit the raffle booth to get your ticket in for a chance to win a prize!

2. There is a ”one pole per kid” rule - kiddos can catch more than one fish but we do ask that every child only fish using one pole

3. We will have a concession stand ran by the Boy Scouts this year! So, come hungry and bring your monnneeyyy 😉

4. We want this event to be as fun for the kids as possible. Please keep in mind that we are all volunteering to run this event. No trustee, Check-In person or concession stand worker will be getting paid to be there. We are all volunteering our time. Be kind and HAVE FUN!!!

5. Each child that registers for the fishing derby will receive a raffle ticket to put in the drawing for one of the awesome kid prizes! 🎟️ Bring cash or card to buy a ticket or two to have a chance to win so many cool prizes!

Just as a reminder the lake is closed until the fishing derby on May 18, 2024. Anyone caught fishing will have their membership revoked. Let’s make this event amazing for the kids in our community!

We are one week away from our annual fishing derby on May 18th from 1:00 - 3:00pm!!!!

Every child, ages 1 - 17, who registers the day of the derby will receive a free raffle ticket for a chance to win one of the amazing kid prizes!!

Thanks to our amazing sponsors we have the following items available for raffle:

🚲 16” boys bike and helmet $1/ticket or $5 for 6 tickets
🚲 20” boys bike and helmet $1/ticket or $5 for 6 tickets
🚲 16” girls bike and helmet $1/ticket or $5 for 6 tickets

We are holding our Annual Fishing Derby on May 18, 2024 from 1:00pm - 3:00 pm!! This event it FREE and OPEN TO THE COMMUNITY for all children ages 1 - 17.

There will be awards for each of the following age groups:

Group 1: Ages 1 - 6
Group 2: Ages 7 - 12
Group 3: Ages 13 - 17

The prizes will be first and second place in each age group for the different fish breeds. We will also have a President’s Plaque for each age group.

We are excited to be able to hold this event again and cannot wait to see you there!!

We held our annual fishing derby today and 134 kids attended. Each child received a tackle box and there were awards in each age division. From the President Sid Antill of the Washington County Fish and Game:

We will be stocking the Lake today, Friday April 28, 2023 and the lake will be closed. This means no fishing until May 20, 2023 which is the Fishing Derby for the kids. Anyone caught fishing on lake during the closed days are subject to lose their membership and nonmembers are subject to trespassing.
