The Bluefield’s D3 steel is a high-carbon, high-chromium, oil-hardening known for its high hardness and exceptional wear resistance due to its numerous hard carbides. It features excellent dimensional stability during heat treatment, making it suitable for precision tools where accuracy and longevity are critical. While it offers superior wear properties, it must be carefully tempered after hardening to improve its toughness, as it can be brittle in its as-quenched state.

The Bluefield Knife has been given and excellent heat treatment that results in an ASTM Rockwell hardness test between 55-59 HRC along the blade edge. This Outdoor Series knife makes for the ultimate gift for any occasion that can be enjoyed and handed down to future generations.

Country Roads knife Company has designed our Damascus Wheeling Knife for an active military man who are walking with friends in some 3rd world country and wanted to conceal carry their knife horizontally under their shirt.

We  have designed it so that it can be carried on either the right or left side

A leather loop built into the handle allows you slide your index finger into and as you pull it out while you wrap your remaining fingers around the handle bringing the knife upward.
