Wheeling Park Varsity Patriots Beat Martinsburg Varsity Bulldogs On Powerful Performance From London Fankhouser

London Fankhouser hit two home runs and drove in five as Wheeling Park Varsity Patriots defeated Martinsburg Varsity Bulldogs 22-1 on Monday at Wheeling Park High School. Fankhouser homered in the fourth and first innings.
Wheeling Park Varsity Patriots won thanks in part to 12 runs in the second inning. Grace Klein singled, scoring one run, Alivia West singled, scoring one run, Kylah Cunningham homered to center field, scoring three runs, Mikaylah Alderman singled, scoring one run, Grace Tamburin singled, scoring two runs, Brenna Tipton singled, scoring one run, West grounded out, scoring one run, Harmony Bittner drew a walk, scoring one run, and Alderman lined out, scoring one run.
Martinsburg Varsity Bulldogs got on the board in the first inning after E Bowers singled, scoring one run.
Wheeling Park Varsity Patriots jumped into the lead in the bottom of the first when West hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, Alderman hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, and Fankhouser homered to center field, scoring two runs.
