Lake Policy Update

The Friendship Park District has implemented a new policy regarding motorized watercraft on the lake.

Effective immediately:

• Gas-powered motors may NOT be operated on the lake

• Electric motors are permitted

• Boats with an attached gas motor may still be used on the lake, provided the motor remains upright in the boat and is not in operation

We know this is a change for some of you, and we truly appreciate your understanding as we work to keep our lake clean, quiet, and enjoyable for everyone.
