RiverDawgs Best Oak Creek Jr. Knights (Rumpel) In Shootout, 9-8

RiverDawgs and Oak Creek Jr. Knights lit up the scoreboard on Sunday as they combined for 17 runs. In the end, RiverDawgs won the offensive battle 9-8 in four innings.

The teams totaled 13 hits in the game.

The game was back-and-forth heading into the third, with five lead changes.

RiverDawgs finally managed to grab the lead after a strong third inning. They went up for good on an RBI single by Randall Hunt off #5, plating Dominic Rampulla.

Hunt went a perfect 3-3 at the dish for the RiverDawgs.

TJ Williams recorded the win for RiverDawgs. He pitched 1 1/3 shutout innings. Williams struck out two, walked three and gave up one hit.

The bottom of the first saw RiverDawgs take an early lead, 4-0. The rally started when Hunt singled. The scoreboard lit up again for the RiverDawgs when Hunt scored on a wild pitch, Jocius scored on an error, and Czuk scored on a groundout by Logan Ray.

RiverDawgs never surrendered the lead after the third inning. The runs piled on thanks to a two-RBI double by Ray.

3 RiverDawgs Pitchers Team Up For No-Hitter In 11-0 Fall Ball Victory Over Oak Creek Jr. Knights (Ruffino)

Three pitchers joined forces to throw a no-hitter for in an 11-0 victory in four innings over Oak Creek Jr. Knights on Sunday at Oak Creek Little League Complex.

TJ Williams was in control on the hill. Williams held Oak Creek Jr. Knights hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three.

Nine runs in the opening three innings allowed RiverDawgs to easily put away Oak Creek. A walk by Nicklas Williams, an error, a wild pitch, and an error during the first inning and an error, a two-run single by Bennett Spolar, and a groundout by Michael Jocius in the second inning supplied the early offense for RiverDawgs.

Nicklas Williams put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for RiverDawgs.
RiverDawgs were sparked by Williams and Spolar, who teamed up for two hits and four RBIs.
