Hi Everyone,
We are planning our first practice this Thursday (March 30th) at Bopp Field. We have Bopp Field from 5-6:30 each Thursday and the Community Park Field each Tuesday at the same time. We anticipate starting practice at 5:15 or so to allow for travel from work and for it to last approximately one hour on most days, but may adjust the times slightly after we get a chance to have a couple of practices. We will make every attempt to cancel any practices early if the forecast calls for rain or very low temperatures.
A few other notes are below.
1. There is league wide parent Meeting 4/6/23 at 5:30 at the Bethlehem Elementary School. This is not mandatory, but we will be receiving the uniforms that day and this is a good time to ask any questions you may have. If you are unable to attend, we will pass out the uniforms at the next practice. At this point, we will not be holding practice on April 6th due to this meeting.
2. If you have not submitted your child's birth certificate, please bring a copy with you to an upcoming practice.
3. If any parents are wishing or willing to help with stations at practice, please let us know. We are more than happy to have any extra help we can get to keep things moving along.
4. The season schedule is being created now, but games are expected to start near Mother's Day and run until around Father's Day. I believe they will be on Sunday afternoons. Once we get the schedule, we will provide it along with a list of volunteer opportunities to allow you to to be reimbursed for your $50 deposit to the league.
5. Meet the Team is April 23rd. More details to follow, but please be thinking of how we can to decorate the vehicles for this event.
