Two weeks ago I posted how hard it is to win golf tournaments. Well, this team makes it look easy. Another come from behind win for this team! This makes it 3 in a row! I can not say enough good things about this team. They never give up and they never think they are out of it. They fight until the last putt is made. Not only did we have a team win but another individual win! Congratulations to on winning individually. Her highlights include a hole in one and making an eagle to win in a playoff! Great job everyone! I am proud of you all!

Selfie wins are back and better then ever! Both the men’s and women’s teams won this weekend. We swept the Panther Invite! That’s two in a row for ! Go Flyers!

The hardest thing in golf is winning. You have no control on how the other players do. You can’t play defense against them. You can only hope your performance is “good enough” that day or week. To say I am proud of what my college team did this week is an understatement. They all played to win. They had a chip on their shoulders and wanted this W more than ever. Especially at our home tournament in front of their families! Not only did we have a team win but also an individual win as well! Sophia Lawler won individually and played some amazing golf! I am proud of you all!

That’s a wrap on the 2024/2025 season for and ! It was a year to remember! So many great things happened this year and much to build off of. Some highlights included: team win at the Glenmoor Invite, winning individual title at Rockhurst, winning conference, men’s team making it to match play for the first time at the GLVC Championship, qualifying for the NCAA super regional, earning GLVC golfer of the week, both teams lowering their team scoring average from last year, women’s team having the highest sports GPA in the fall with a 3.74! Thank you all for a great season and I can’t wait to see what’s next!

It’s always an honor to be selected to be part of this list. Thank you for once again recognizing me. Unfortunately Father Time is not on my side as I turn 40 at the end of the year and I will not be considered “young.” I am happy I was able to sneak in 1 more time. It’s hard to believe it was 8 years ago I first appeared on . This of course would never be possible without my amazing students and players. Thank you to my amazing family Kim, Brody, and Nolan for your support and believing in me. I know it isn’t always easy when I am gone, working late nights and weekends.

As the saying goes, all good things must come to an end. As an instructor you sometimes don't know when your last lesson with someone will be. I have had the opportunity to coach Mara for the past 11 years. I have seen her grow from a shy 7th grader who wasn't sure if she wanted to play golf into an amazing D1 player. She is finishing up her 5th year at Bradley and came home for 1 more lesson. All I can say is where ever she goes with her career that employer will have a rock star.

Made a deal with my men's team that if Cas made a half court shot, I'd cancel practice. 6am practice was canceled this morning!
