...And just like that, the Summer of 2026 comes to an end.
It’s hard to believe camp is over since it feels like just yesterday we were shooting off our confetti cannons and welcoming everyone to our first morning lineup. It’s hard to believe that was 8 weeks ago, and now it’s time to say goodbye.
This summer was jam-packed with good times, new friends, and excellent experiences. We made so many memories that will help us live 10 for 2.
From new Choice Programming like hip hop and Broadway dance, Dungeons and Dragons, the MIDC Newsroom, resin art, and crocheting to new activities like Elevate Flag Football and Krav Maga, there was always something new to try or a new skill to learn. Camp is all about that - learning and mastering new and beloved activities in a supportive, fun, recreational environment.
Today was also a special final oneg and the Mid Island Day Camp Jonathan Richter Baseball League championship game (congratulations Red Zoners!). Thanks, Anthony from HKC, for the MIDC Baseball League helmet donation!
Plus, congratulations to Sport Rishon for winning the Spirit Cup!
