Front beams don’t like jumping sideways at 120 foot! Bent the driver’s side beam right after the competition caution and limped around for a 7th place finish today.

I run kingpin beams, which are hard to find, so headed to KC to get it straightened!

Practice went great yesterday! Huge thanks to Myan Spaccarelli for letting me use his Hans neck restraint for practice. Mine was outdated and Hailey had to run back to KC to get a new one! Made some small adjustments to the truck and are ready to rock for today’s race!

Have a few things still to do on the truck, but she’s almost ready for Wheatland!

We were able to put a shake down lap on the truck earlier this morning. The repairs did great so far and we will see how they hold up for the race!

Zack is back in the seat for today and starts on the pole at 12:40pm on FloRacing!

We took the truck a couple hours away to KC to use our shop and forklifts to try to fix the truck. First thing we did, was get the truck running after the fire and then cleaned all the mud off. After that we fixed the frame, replaced the front engine cage tubes, and are now working on the grill/fender support plus bumper.

We also found that our transmission tail housing is cracked and the ears for the mount are broken off.

Lots to do still, but we are giving it our best shot. Driver’s meeting is in less than 9 hours!

Loaded the truck into the trailer a day early unfortunately. Tucker started 4th and was running a good race until he caught a rut, put it up on the bike, and then hit the wall after saving it from a rollover. The impact bent the frame and sprayed engine oil on the headers, which caught the engine bay on fire. Tucker might be a little sore in the morning, but luckily he is okay. Big thank you to the safety crew for putting out the fire and getting him out of the truck.

Also, that was the worst competition caution lap I’ve ever witnessed. Half the field was still racing as the other half was slowing down. Brad Barglind put a door on Tucker to pass him as he was pulling in line for the restart, which was pretty cool…

We made the hour long drive to Wheatland and decided to put a new driver in the seat. Tucker just got done with a muddy practice and will be ready to go for tomorrow’s race!

This isn’t Tucker’s first race though, he raced in Mid-America Outdoor’s (RIP) first UTV race back in 2020!

Yesterday, we officially finished 8th after starting 16th. Got through the land rush clean and went off the barn turn jump which is a lot bigger than last year. Truck lands to flat uphill and instantly knew I missed on the rear shock valving. I haven’t winced that hard in the truck before and could feel it through my spine. Couldn’t push the truck as hard as normal, but we worked through the shocks with Andy last night. Added a lot of compression valving, so fingers crossed it works!
