Today is opening day at Lynn Bates School of Dance! 🎉🩰

We are so excited to welcome back our returning dancers and meet all of our new faces. We are ready for a wonderful season filled with dancing, learning, and unforgettable memories. We can’t wait to see you! 🩵

Competition team tryouts have officially come to an end! 🎉 Before we announce our 2026–2027 teams later this evening, we would like to wish all of these amazing dancers the very best of luck!

We are so proud of every dancer who stepped outside her comfort zone and took a new step in her dance journey. We are also incredibly proud of our returning dancers for continuing to challenge themselves and grow.

Job well done, girls! We are looking forward to a fantastic season and cannot wait to see what the year ahead holds! 💙✨

We are right around the corner from the start of a brand-new dance season! We know Miss Marley and the rest of our amazing staff are excited and ready to begin preparing, teaching, and sharing their love of dance with our students. We can’t wait to see everyone back in the studio! 💃🩰

The weekend is quickly approaching, which means it is almost time to select our 2026–2027 Competition Team! 🌟

We hope you have a dancer who is ready to take their skills to the next level!

🗓️ Saturday—Learning Day
Parent meeting: 9:00 a.m.
Dancing begins: 9:15 a.m.

🗓️ Sunday—Tryout Day
Warm-up: 1:30 p.m.
Tryouts begin: 2:00 p.m.

Dancers should wear:

🩵 Black leotard
🩵 Black spandex shorts
🩵 Tan tights
🩵 Tan jazz shoes

The cost is $30 and includes both days. We cannot wait to see everyone this weekend! ✨
