As we close out our 2026 competition season, we want to wish all of our dancers the very best of luck. We are so proud of the hard work, dedication, growth, and memories that have led us to this moment. No matter what happens on stage, these girls have already made us proud.

✨ 2026-2027 LBSD Studio Shirts Are Here! ✨

We are excited to share this year's studio shirt design! Shirts will be printed on a white Comfort Colors tee and are the perfect way to show your LBSD pride all season long.

💙 Cost:
• $18 for youth and adult sizes
• Add $2 for sizes 2X and up

Orders will begin during our In-Person Registration on July 18th. If you are unable to attend registration and plan to register online, don't worry! We will open shirt orders for online registrants beginning August 1st.

We can't wait to see everyone sporting their new LBSD shirts as we kick off our 51st season! 🩵

As much as we hate to see recital season come to an end, we know that means costumes, shoes, water bottles, jackets, and all sorts of treasures sometimes get left behind!

We gathered all items that were left at the auditorium and placed them in a lost-and-found box at the studio. Please refer to the flyer below for the times we will be available for item pickup.

We understand these pickup times may not be ideal for everyone. However, our studio is closed for much of the summer, which makes coordinating additional times difficult. Please know we are not trying to keep anyone's belongings—we definitely want to get your items back to their rightful owners!

If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out. Thank you all again for an amazing recital season, and we hope everyone is enjoying a well-deserved summer break! 💙

As we officially close the curtain on our 50th season, my heart is overflowing with gratitude.

First and foremost, thank you to everyone for your patience and understanding as we navigated the unexpected electricity issues. While it wasn't how we envisioned ending our season, your support and flexibility reminded us just how special the LBSD family truly is.

Last night was more than just a recital—it was a celebration of 50 years of memories, tradition, and a legacy built on an incredible foundation by Mrs. Bates. As Director, it has been one of the greatest honors of my life to continue that legacy while also adding my own vision for the future. Every day I am reminded of how lucky I am to do what I love alongside so many amazing dancers and families.

To our dance families, thank you for trusting us with your children. Watching them grow not only as dancers, but as confident young individuals, is the greatest reward. Their smiles, determination, and love for dance are what make every late night, long rehearsal, and busy recital season worth it.

To everyone who supported us behind the scenes—whether you sent photos, volunteered your time, sponsored our recital, offered words of encouragement, or simply asked how you could help—please know that your support never went unnoticed. You were heard, appreciated, and played a part in making this season unforgettable.

While one chapter comes to a close, we are already looking ahead to the next. Thank you for helping us celebrate 50 incredible years. We cannot wait to see what the future holds for Lynn Bates School of Dance.

✨ As we reflect on the past 50 years of Lynn Bates School of Dance, we also celebrate the future that continues to shine brightly through our dancers. ✨

This season has been one to remember, filled with growth, dedication, friendships, and countless memories. We are so proud of every dancer who has worked hard all year long, and we cannot wait to see them take the stage and share their talents with our community.

Join us for our 50th Annual Recital, *The Greatest Hits*, on June 6th at 6:30 PM at Keye Ingram Auditorium. This is a show you do not want to miss!
