It’s been a long and devastating week for our community and this one hits especially close to home for our family. Our parents and grandparents live on a road with the river on both sides, and we’ve spent countless hours doing everything we could to try and hold the water back.

But in the end, God had other plans.

Even in the middle of the hardship, we’ve seen something powerful, people showing up, lending a hand, and standing together. We are incredibly thankful for everyone who stepped in to help and for the strength of this community.

There is still a long road ahead. The cleanup is just beginning, and many are facing tough days to come. But if there’s one thing this has shown, it’s that we are stronger together than we could ever be alone.

We’re praying the rain in the forecast passes, but we trust that God is in control and will provide for every need.

We’ll keep showing up, helping where we can, and standing alongside our community every step of the way.

There’s nothing quite like the excitement of youth turkey season.

Blinds are set, tucked in and hidden… the woods are waking up… and the anticipation is building. It’s more than just the hunt—it’s about passing down traditions, building confidence, and creating memories that last a lifetime.

Seeing young hunters put in the time, learn the land, and experience success is what it’s all about.

We’re thinking back to moments like this from last season—hard work paying off and smiles that say it all.

Good luck to all the youth hunters heading out this weekend. Stay safe, enjoy every second, and soak it all in.

Good Friday.

The day the sky grew dark…
The day hope seemed lost…
The day love chose the cross.

He was mocked, beaten, and broken—
not because He had to be,
but because He chose to be.

For us.

Every nail, every wound, every drop of blood
was love in its rawest, most powerful form.
A sacrifice we could never earn…
a grace we could never deserve.

It looked like the end.
It felt like defeat.
But even in the silence of that Friday…

God was working.

Today we remember the weight of the cross—
and the depth of a love that would go that far
to bring us back to Him.

It’s not just a story.
It’s personal.

While everyone is gearing up for Easter egg hunts, we have our own kind of ‘Easter’ hunt… shed hunting!

With the snow finally melted, it’s time to get out into the woods and fields and look for antlers that you didn’t get to put hands on this past hunting season!

And it didn’t take long to get exciting. The landowner didn’t have much time, but went out for a short walk yesterday and found not one, but TWO — a matching pair!

What makes it even more special is they’ve walked this property for years and had only ever found one smaller shed before. Knowing the potential this land has, that always surprised us.

Finds like this are a reminder of what’s really out there — and we’re fired up to help unlock and maximize this property’s full potential.

This is just the beginning.

Same day. Same property. Very different stories.

The bare dirt in the food plot isn’t melt-off—it’s deer activity. They’re hitting this plot so consistently that they’ve cleaned it down to soil.

In contrast, the corn field which is only about a 100 yards away from this food plot is still snow-covered. That tells you this isn’t just weather… it’s preference.

Year-round food with the right nutrients is a game changer and the proof is in the pictures. You can even see where the trail comes in from the snow-covered trail and exactly where the food plot edge starts.

And if that isn’t enough to convince you, the last photo shows a herd of deer—and that trail camera only covers half the food plot. This is just one of many photos from this winter.

While we wait for next season, winter is the perfect time to learn your property.

With snow on the ground and leaves down, deer trails and travel routes really stand out. You can see where they’re entering fields, crossing timber, and moving between bedding and food.

This is the time to map trails, identify funnels, and plan stands, blinds, and next year’s food plots.
