LAND-BASED SHARK FISHING GUIDE
Chum Em Up Charters is looking for a reliable, hard-working fishing-savvy individual to help run land-based shark fishing trips on Florida’s Forgotten Coast.

🎣 POSITION OVERVIEW
Assist with guided land-based shark fishing trips including:

Setting and managing heavy-tackle rigs

Bait prep, gear handling, and line management

Assisting clients during hookups and landings

Ensuring safety of anglers, bystanders, and sharks

Cleanup, breakdown, and gear transport

This is hands-on, physical, outdoor work — often at night.

✅ REQUIREMENTS
✔ Fishing experience (saltwater preferred)
✔ Comfortable handling large fish & heavy gear
✔ Physically capable (lifting, walking beaches, long hours)
✔ Reliable transportation
✔ Calm under pressure
✔ Professional attitude with clients

No influencers. No shortcuts. No egos.

⭐ PREFERRED (NOT REQUIRED)
• Land-based shark fishing experience
• Knot knowledge (leaders, crimps, rigs)
• Familiarity with Gulf Coast beaches & tides
• CPR / First Aid (or willing to get certified)

⏱ SCHEDULE
• Evenings & nights
• Weekends required
• Seasonal / part-time time

💰 PAY

The weather is cooling off and the fall bite is starting to pick up. We still have some days available in September and October for land based shark trips for your whole crew to enjoy. Evening and day trips available depending on location. Fishing the beaches on or near Cape San Blas, Port St. Joe, Mexico Beach, Panama City, and Saint George Island.

Due to a schedule change on our end we now have all of labor day weekend available for evening shark trips from the beach. Come drone out some baits with us and wait for your chance to catch an apex predator. August 29-Sept1. Prices run 4hrs $450, 5hrs $550, 6hrs $650, 8hrs $850 per group with no maximum group size. Trips start at 6 or 7pm and run into the night. Panama city, Mexico beach, Port St Joe, cape san blas, Saint George Island.

We still have a few dates left in may, June, and July for offshore trips targeting a wide variety of species. We offer 6hr and 8hr offshore trips with longer trips and night trips available. Boat leaves out of Mexico Beach Florida and can carry a group of up to 6 plus capt and crew. Don't miss out on your chance to chase some tails and make some memories!

Florida 2025 redsnapper season just announced with more dates than last year!!! We still have some dates available during this upcoming season so don't wait!!
Snapper season 2025 will be
May 24-26
June 1-July 31
Sept 1-15
Weekends from sept 15-end of year!!!
Let's go catch some snapper!!!

Due to business demand and growth we are happy to announce the addition of Glenn Mckeown & Michael Graham to the chum em up crew. Michael and Glenn will be running overflow land based shark trips for me. Previous clients do not be afraid as I intend to fish with y'all and keep those relationships because if it wasn't for you I wouldn't be here. This is an opportunity for Michael and Glenn to start building their own clientele and from reviews it won't take long.
