Chris and Therese and the entire Coosa River Adventure team want to thank ALL the search and rescue teams who assisted in locating the missing swimmer at Corn Creek Park! Press release with more detailed information attached. Please share the FACTS of this sad situation and keep the family and friends of the individual in your thoughts and prayers.

First responders have recovered the body of an18-year-old from the Coosa River after he went underwater at Corn Creek Park in Wetumpka.

Coosa River Adventures will resume trips Sunday Aug 23rd at 9am, 11am, and 1pm. As always call 334-514-0279 for reservations and information. We will be closed the weekdays of Monday August 24th through Friday August 28th. Regular trips will be available the weekend of August 29th and 30th. UPDATE!! The young man was recovered today. Please keep his friends, family and all first responders in your prayers. We will resume trips tomorrow.

We are suspending trips tomorrow due to an incident involving teenagers swimming at Corn Creek Park. No lifejackets were worn. First responders are on the scene and we want to give them the respect and space they need to do their job. Keeping family and friends in our prayers. We will post updates when they become available.
