Registration Open: Travel Basketball Tryouts for Boys and Girls in Grades 4-8.

Details: Tryouts will be held Sept. 22 through Sept. 28. The Westwood MetroWest travel program is ONLY for grades 4 through 8. It starts in November and typically runs through mid-March.

Registration for the In-Town program for Grades 1-12 will open in a few weeks.

The WHS Varsity girls basketball team are hosting Youth night at home game Fri Jan 23 vs Norton. Tip-off at 6pm! Youth players are invited to arrive early to help form entrance tunnel for the varsity team before warmups (~540) and cheer on a WBA team scrimmage during halftime!

Reminder: Registration is open for co-ed KINDERGARTEN basketball skills clinic.

The goal is to introduce kindergartners (ages 5-6) to the basics of basketball in a fun, engaging, and supportive environment. Early exposure to the sport will promote physical development, teamwork, confidence, and a long-term love for the game.

Sessions will be held at the Westwood's Pine Hill school gym from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm on Saturdays through the winter season (Jan 10, 17, 24, Jan. 31, Feb. 7, 21, Feb. 28, March 7). The fee to participate in these sessions is $80. Players will be given T-shirts.
