What a great first day of our Summer Program at Westport Tennis Club! ☀️🎾

The courts were full of energy as our players spent the morning learning from our pros, playing games, making new friends, and having fun on and off the court.

It was an amazing way to kick off the summer, and we can’t wait for the weeks ahead!

There’s still time to join us! Spots remain available for next week’s session June 29–July 3 and select upcoming weeks throughout the summer.

Our Kids Summer Tennis Program begins in just 2 days, and we’re excited to welcome players back to the courts for another fun summer of tennis, games, match play, activities, and new friendships.

One of our favorite scenes every summer is seeing the excitement of the kids when the ice cream truck stops by the club!

Our Kids Summer Tennis Program begins June 22 and is filling up quickly.

Many of our July and August sessions are already full or close to capacity, but there are still spots available in several June and early July sessions.

The first weeks of summer are some of the best.

Kids are out of school, excited to be active, meeting new friends, improving their tennis skills, and making memories that last all season long.

Less than 1 month until summer tennis begins 🎾☀️

The Westport Tennis Club Summer Program is almost here — and kids are getting ready for mornings full of tennis, friends, games, and summer fun.

Ages 5–16 will learn:
🎾 strokes
🎾 ball control
🎾 court movement
🎾 sportsmanship

Plus tournaments, ice cream days, and Davis Cup Fridays.

Good swing vs back swing 🎾

Your swing starts with your feet. 🎾

A good forehand or backhand isn’t just about the racquet.

It comes from your body position, balance, and how your feet move through the shot.

When your foot rotates forward, your hips and shoulders can follow, giving you more control, power, and a cleaner swing.
