Fairfield County Hunt Club - Stables One Hundred Years of Horsemanship in Fairfield County Our riders compete at the local, regional and national levels.

The riding program at The Fairfield County Hunt Club (FCHC) has a rich history of developing successful riders in the hunter, jumper and equitation disciplines. The program and all of our facilities offer a wide array of services at all levels of participation for the English style horseman. Our program offers competitively priced memberships for riders of all levels from beginners to high-level c

ompetitive jumpers and hunters. The program is dedicated to providing a comprehensive nurturing environment for horse and rider to develop the skills necessary to perform to the best of their ability.

Jennifer Hannan has attended the Fairfield June Show for three decades, but she experienced a new "first" at the venue Thursday. Hannan received the inaugural Walter J. Lee High Score Hunter Award, riding Clueso to a 90 in the Green Hunter 3' division 🏆

Recognizing the high score professional hunter rider of the competition, the trophy was donated earlier this year by renowned hunter judge, trainer, and breeder Walter "Jimmy" Lee 🌟

We’re making adjustments to the June schedule’s Welcome and Grand Prix events.

The $5,000 Pablo Mejia Equestrian Welcome Stake and $15,000 Friends of Fairfield Grand Prix (previously 1.40m) will both be held at heights of 1.30m/1.35m.

This adjustment will open the opportunity for juniors, amateurs, and developing horses to gain valuable experience in feature classes on our beautiful field. ✨
