This Wednesday is Mali’s last evening class before she moves Vinyasa Yoga to Saturdays at 9 AM.

Linda’s Hatha Yoga continues Monday evenings at 5:30 PM. (Expect fun poses and lots of smiling).

This is something you probably didn’t know about me…

That’s me, at about 22, on the cover of Radio Control Modeler magazine with a model airplane belonging to a family friend, Leonard “Max” Smart.

I had completely forgotten about this until this magazine cover resurfaced recently. The photographer was Neil Keach of Blair and Webber, where I used to work.

I just think it’s a wonderfully random little piece of my past that shows up every now and again. ✈️

Hi everyone! Just a quick update. There won’t be Community Coffee this Saturday. My family is coming for the weekend, and I’m looking forward to spending that time with them.

When I first mentioned hosting Community Coffee every second Saturday, I underestimated how full the summer would become. I also underestimated how much interest there would be, which has been so encouraging! ☕️

Hi, I’m Rosie.

I live on an island off the coast of Maine. I’ve shared my life with alpacas for the past 13 years; they’re all elderly now. Each one has a funny, endearing personality and they bring me so much joy.

I’m the curator of my barn, always listening for what it wants to become. I love creating beautiful spaces and meaningful experiences, and sharing them with kind, genuine people. 🤍

I’m a creative at heart. I love chocolate, good coffee, and getting lost in a great book. More than anything, I love my simple life with my family and animals. It’s a life that feels grounded, peaceful, and full of quiet joy. 🤍

Alpacas & Cupcakes at Lulu's Barn 💛🦙🧁
These photos from Maine Tinker Photography by Siobhan Bogle LLC mean so much because my boys are elderly. They are doing really well, they are loved and spoiled, but they are senior alpacas.
I want to share them while I can.
If you've never met my guys, they are not typical alpacas. Alpacas are usually pretty standoffish. Mine have been socialized their whole lives and are extra personable and friendly. They come right up to the table, they pose for photos, they love being hand-fed.
Our Alpacas & Cupcakes experience is a one-hour private visit under the tent on Westport Island. You get hands-on time with the alpacas, a handmade gourmet cupcake on vintage china, and a quiet, flower-filled farm moment in Midcoast Maine.
If you've been meaning to come, or bring a friend, your teen, your mom. This is the time.
