Senior Spotlight: Carla Cain ✨🎓

Carla has been dancing since she was just 5 years old. Over the years, she has grown into a great leader and such a positive light in our studio. She is kind, confident, and always so fun to collaborate with, bringing many creative ideas to the table💜

Favorite dance memory:
My favorite dance memory was when Aubrey and I won first overall and we got a massive trophy!

Plans after graduation:
My plan after graduation is going to WVU for special education.

What will you miss most about dance?
I will miss seeing all my friends the most. They are my best friends and I don’t know what I would do without them.

Thank you:
I would like to thank all of my teachers for helping shape me into the person I am today. I’m so grateful I started dance. I would also like to thank my parents for always pushing me to do my best and never give up

Advice for younger dancers:
I would say please never stop dancing. It is the best thing that will happen to you. You will make the best friends! Always be there for them

Senior Spotlight: Audrey Wissmar ✨🎓

Audrey has been part of the Mindy’s family since she was just 7 years old. She has grown into a strong, dedicated dancer and natural leader in the studio. Though she didn’t start out tapping, it quickly became her favorite style and where she truly shines 💜

Plans after graduation:
After graduation I plan on attending WVU and studying pharmacy.

How had dance shaped you?
Dance has shaped who I am today by teaching me how to collaborate and communicate with my peers while balancing being my own confident, individual self.

Thank you:
I'd like to thank all my teachers. They have been there for me the whole way, even if it wasn't easy.

Advice for younger dancers:
My advice for any younger dancer is to never take your dance family or memories for granted because you'll grow up and things will change before you know it.
