Well folks. It appears the fire season is upon us.

Tonight, June 3rd is a meeting in Dayton, WA regarding the Blue Mountains Forest Plan Revision. Doors open at 430pm. Tomorrow the mtg is in La Grande, OR. Next week there are meetings in Enterprise, OR and Baker City, OR. Please get involved and educate yourselves and ensure access to public lands is available for future generations. Hey Tollgate Peeps. The time is here to get involved and make our voices heard. Looks like the Umatilla National Forest has plans to add more wilderness. Yes, more wilderness in our backyard where we ride. Speak up at the meetings coming up next week. Speak up now or risk losing our riding area forever. Please share with everyone you know.

The April 11th Ropes and Poles Work Party was a huge success! We all need to thank every volunteer in these pictures. They show up and help every time we need them, they don't complain and they always have a smile on their face and they get things done. Thanks Marilyn for the Blueberry Muffins. We will be announce work parties in the near future to work on brushing our trails. Thank you volunteers, without you we can't do it!

We need your help! Come up Saturday, April 11th to Tollgate to remove the ropes and poles from Mud Flats. Meet at 9am at the TTF Clubhouse to help out.

The Tollgate Trailfinders Snowmobile Club is excited to announce that it has presented a donation to the Wallowa Avalanche Center. The Wallowa Avalanche Center provides avalanche forecasting for the mountains of Eastern Oregon keeping all of us much safer in the mountains. This week, Past President, Brandon Christensen presented Victor McNeil, Director of the Wallowa Avalanche Center a donation of $200 this week from the Tollgate Trailfinders. Victor thanked the Tollgate Trailfinders for their donation since this will help them fund the avalanche center. The Wallowa Avalanche Center is a non profit organization funded solely by donations and grants. Every bit of help they receive ensures the future of having an avalanche center in Eastern Oregon. Had the mountain to ourselves today Friday the 13th. Little wet out but the trails were pretty smooth. Still lots of snow at the elevation of Bone Springs. Most of the trees we cut in December are covered now. Get out and enjoy the spring conditions while you can!

Mother Nature has blessed us this week with the whiteness. Come up and enjoy it. Our TTF Mtg and Elections is 5pm Saturday March 7th at the TTF Clubhouse. We will be having dinner together. Bring a side dish or dessert. BBQ will be provided by the TTF.
