What I love about volleyball: I love the high energy and celebrations with my teammates after a big play.

Favorite Volleyball Memory: Winning the DCE tournament my junior year. The close matches we played truly made it an amazing accomplishment.

Favorite TV show: Friends

Biggest Pet Peeve: chewing with your mouth open

Meet the varsity:

Why I love volleyball: The reason I love volleyball is because it brings me so much happiness. It has given me friendships that I never would have had without the sport. Volleyball also makes me happy through the feeling of achieving success and reaching goals that I’ve worked hard for. Most importantly, it has helped build my self-confidence, which is something everyone needs.

Favorite volleyball memory: I don’t have one specific volleyball memory that stands out as my favorite because every moment I’ve spent playing volleyball has been special to me. Some of my greatest memories come from playing in our home gym with the crowd and student section going wild. The energy, excitement, and support from everyone in the stands made those moments unforgettable.

My favorite candy: skittles

Favorite animal: Dog (specifically mine)🐕

Why I love volleyball: I love volleyball because of the people I’ve met through it. I’ve made some of my closest friends and so many memories that I wouldn’t have without volleyball.

Favorite volleyball memory: My sophomore year when Miranda bought us all matching pajamas and Jacob wore his to practice.

Favorite pizza toppings: Cheese, onions, and green peppers.

Dream pet: A monkey.

Dream nap location: Somewhere with a beautiful mountain view, huge windows, a cozy couch, and a Christmas tree lit up while a Christmas movie plays in the background.

Why I Love Volleyball: I love it because of the amazing people and the amazing friendships you make throughout playing the sport as you get older and how many close of bonds you get to have with your teammates and just take that altogether out on the court and just all play the sport you love as one

Favorite Volleyball memory: Jumping over chairs to save a shanked ball and then winning that point
My favorite animal: butterfly

Pregame superstition: I have to eat a pickle

Olivia Schroeder, #7, senior

What I love about volleyball- I love the adrenaline rush during a tight game. Especially during a long rally when we are trying everything we can to get the point.

My favorite volleyball memory- Getting to play for the first time with my little sister. Also, my favorite memory is my first varsity game against Marshfield my sophomore year.

Where I hope to be in five years - I hope to graduate college with a major in Early Childhood/Special Education or Social Work, and get a job working with kids with special needs.

My favorite things- hanging out with my friends and family, working with kids, and being on the lake.
