The middle belongs to both: cover it! 🎯🎾
Owning the middle in doubles reduces errors and gives you control.

🤝 Pre-match agreement: who takes middle balls based on dominant hand and position.

🧭 Quick rule: if both can get it, the forehand in the middle takes it.

🧍‍♀️🧍‍♂️ Move as one: keep even spacing and advance together to the NVZ.

👀 Close the gap: if you see an opponent pulled wide, protect the middle.

🔊 Clear calls: “mine/yours,” “I’m in,” “switch” before contact.

Play it smart: the middle avoids risky lines.

Prioritize depth + margin over raw power. Here are the 5 essentials:

📈 80–90% consistency: priority #1 is getting it in.

📏 Depth: make it bounce 3–6 ft (≈1–2 m) before the opponent’s baseline.

🪜 Net clearance: aim 2–3 ft (≈60–90 cm) above the net to avoid the tape.

↘️ Smart direction: go cross-court for more margin; aim middle or backhand to play safe.

🛠️ Simple ex*****on: contact in front, neutral paddle face, and follow-through to your target (use legs + torso).

Play it smart: once you’re at 8/10 in, then add power.
