Schedules are beginning to come in for the 2026 season. 🏈🏈🏈
OCEP clinics are scheduled for June 20th in McMinnville and for June 27th in Medford. A 3rd date is being planned for Pendleton in September or October.
We will be working 6-player, 8-player, 9-player, and 11-player football. Our first game date is August 28th!!

Great time in Stanfield today! Early game, where the crew was joined by students from Hermiston’s Sports Officiating class. Why do I do it?, they asked. Because “I love sports, it’s an opportunity to be on the field, and my time helps give everyone involved, the same great experience.”

The last weekend of high school football in Eastern Oregon concludes this weekend. Last night a crew from the Blue Mountain Football Officials Association traveled to Fossil OR for a contest between the Spray/MitchellWheeler Rattlers and the Pine Eagle Spartans. On a drizzly chilly (cold) night, the Rattlers prevailed 22-12.
Tonight the BMFOA will referee 3 more contests here in Umatilla Co.
-Dufur at Pilot Rock
-Riverside at Mac Hi
-La Grande at Pendleton
And one in Morrow Co.
-Enterprise at Heppner.

Then tomorrow, 2 more games,
-Irrigon at Stanfield
-Burns at Umatilla.

Come support all of these local teams and don’t forget the officials!
It’s going to be wet and cold out there!

First meeting for the BMFOA will be Monday, August 7th, 7 pm at Wildhorse Horse Casino in the McKay meeting room.
High school football players be You to come join us, to ensure that Games can be played.

While traveling to the Oregon East-West Shrine All-Star Football Game, members of the BMFOA were first on the scene to a car fire on I-84. On to the game and a great time off and on the football field. The comradeship is incredibly awesome. Another great game in the books! The 2022 season has begun!!
