Hoping the necessary people will see this. I know these people may not be from Westmoreland…but if you are one of the people riding a snowmobile up over that island right next to the gas pumps down on Route 12, please stop. Not only is there a garden in there that people are riding over, that is where the gas stations Septic is.

I’m only asking on here in hopes that the people doing it will see it and I totally understand that the employees are not gonna come out and say anything. We improve that garden every season and it would be really upsetting to have a bunch of things torn out or crushed.

There are some logging operations on the Crusher Road trail all the way over to Wentworth Road. The landowners have requested that those trails be closed for the rest of the winter. It just won’t be safe for snowmobiles and their equipment and log trucks to coexist in the area. Please obey the signs. The road from the rail trail down to the gas station and the restaurant will remain open. Please proceed carefully and go slow in that area.

Hello Snowmobilers. We got a bunch of snow. If you hit the trails be careful first time out. Some of the farmers fences and gates may still be up. Some of the water bars and ditches may not be filled with snow yet. Look out for the culvert near Sheep Rock. The clubs will be out grooming and working on the trails. It will take a few days to get all the work done. Have fun and be safe.

Cheshire County Snowmobile clubs will be donating these custom made, professional quality, co****le boards to the Easter Seals auction held during the Ride-In in Gorham NH, February 6-8th, to benefit Camp Sno-mo.

Wish we could open our trails but this rain will definitely hurt. Let’s hope Santa brings us some more snow

The club has taken possession of our new Skandic. We will be installing safety lighting, toggle switch for the drag, and finish the towing package. She’ll be ready when snow falls. We have also placed a picnic table at the old Gilboa Depot for all rail trail users to enjoy. Thank you to the Bressett family for the donation. Let’s all hope for a snowy winter. See you on the trails!

The club has been awarded a grant to purchase a 2025 Ski-doo Skandic, 900 Ace, Super Wide Track snowmobile to replace our older machines that tow our mogul master drags to groom our trails. The club portion of the 60/40 grant is $4880. Help us raise the money by joining the club early and making a donation if you can.

We have been approved for a grant to get a new Ski Doo Skandic SWT to groom one of our mogul master drags. This set up will do a nice job grooming our trails to the south of Dagget Mountain. The grant provides us with 60 percent of the cost. We will be doing some fundraising to come up with our 40 percent match. We will be selling at least one of our older Skandics. Stay tuned!

Hello snow enthusiasts. The Westmoreland Snobelters are looking for some help clearing trails so the guys can go out and groom. Every time it snows, there are many branches that come down and limbs get weighted down by snow. If someone could get out there Thursday after this next storm and clear, the groomers will be able to go out and get the trails nice and flat.
