September 26, 2026 at Wat Buddha Dhamma in Willowbrook, IL, Pure Muay Thai Academy and TBA-SA are hosting an outdoor scrimmage/showcase! This event will be held in a ring one match at a time following TBA-SA scrimmage rules. Matches will be NHS/LHS optional. We will provide the body protectors. You will have you headgear, 16oz gloves for adults and 12oz for kids along with sparring shin guards. No cloth slip on shins. There will be no head kicks, elbows, or knees to the head. I need coaches to contact me with your list of potential participants so they can be matched fairly. I need names, ages, weights, LHS/NHS and all martial arts experience. Pure Muay Thai Scrimmage/Showcase September 26, 2026 at Wat Buddha Dhamma! Scrimmage/showcase matches will be in a ring with same rules as a scrimmage. There will be no winner or loser. This is for experience and to showcase your Muay Thai skills, NOT POWER* Participants will wear head gear, body protectors (provided at event), gloves, and leather/syntec leather shinguards (no slip on cloth). No elbow strikes. No kicks to the head. Choice of No head strikes or light head strikes. Contact Coach Greg with questions and information of the participants including Name, age, weights, experience.
