We will provide you with a safe, effective and results-oriented training program. Our clients come from all walks of life and all fitness levels. We take the time to learn about your fitness and health goals, evaluate your current status, and develop a customized program of activities to achieve those goals. You can have confidence that your trainer will challenge you, but will know your limits an

d ensure your safety. Our studio is private, relaxed and includes a wide range of fitness equipment. We will make sure you feel comfortable while working out and will always keep your workouts challenging. Unlike a health club setting, you won’t have to wait to use any equipment and we encourage you to use the cardio machines before and after your workout.

MEET COACH MJ 🙂 Mom of four boys, former elementary school teacher, marathoner and triathlete. Northern Michigan native and lover of all things outdoors, especially skiing! WHY FITNESS INC? Five days by the ocean to start the new year. Most of that time was spent walking the shoreline, watching the sun disappear into the water each night, and getting quiet enough to really reflect.

The ocean has a way of reminding you what matters. Rhythm. Presence. Gratitude. Strength that doesn’t need to shout.

As I head into this new year, I’m grateful for the people in my life, for the work I get to do, and for the commitment to taking care of my body so I can keep showing up — stronger, steadier, and more present.

Today I climbed the Manitou Incline—2,744 stairs, 2,000 feet of elevation gain, and a 68% incline. 🗻🌄

This view means more than just reaching the top—it’s proof that strength, consistency, and intention add up over time.

This past year has been one of growth, challenge, and deep gratitude.
Standing here reminds me why I started the Strength and Longevity program—to move well, stay strong, and keep saying yes to moments like this. 🙌🏻
