Standley Lake is a multi-use recreation and water-storage facility, and is the water supply for Westminster, Northglenn, and Thornton. It is used for recreation, drinking water and irrigation. With Standley Lake Stargazing, we will be hosting TWO programs on July 25th! Stop by from 12-1:30pm to learn about solar astronomy, or come by instead from 7:30-10pm to learn about the night sky! Whichever program you attend (especially if both!) you will get to utilize incredible telescopes to see our galactic wonders.
