Itâs hard to put into words the amount of love and gratitude weâve received since sharing the news. Itâs been overwhelmingâin the best way. The stories, the messages, the tears⊠hearing the impact this place has had on so many of you over the past 10 years has meant more than we can ever fully express.
But truthfully, itâs us who should be thanking you.
For the past decade, weâve had a front-row seat to something incredibly special. Weâve watched people fight through depression, obesity, cancer, divorce, lossâyou name it. Weâve seen people meet here, fall in love, get married, have babies⊠and then fight to get their bodies back, sometimes while we held and rocked those same babies just to give you a moment for yourself.
Weâve watched confidence growâenough for someone to take control of their life, to believe in themselves again. Weâve seen people fall in love not just with others, but with who they are and what theyâre capable of. Pride, purpose, belonging⊠the list goes on.
Weâve had the honor of being part of so many incredible stories and journeys.
From day one, we prayed and asked Jesus to put His hands on this placeâand He did more than we could have ever imagined. So many lives changed, including our own.
And yes⊠there really is something in the water here. And when you drink it, you feel it.
Thank you to every single person who has walked through our doorsâeven if just for a short time. And thank you to those who have supported this place for so many years. This place was never just about usâitâs always been about the people.
We are beyond grateful for this journey. To build something from nothing into something so meaningful and special⊠itâs something we will carry with us forever. Transformation is a beautiful thing, and weâve been lucky enough to witness so much of it.
As a family, weâre stepping into a new adventure in sunny Florida. Weâre looking forward to a slower pace of lifeâbeing more present with our kids, soaking in this short season we have with them at home, working out together, coaching them, and simply learning to be still for a while. More time in nature, more time together.
Weâd like to officially welcome Adam and Phill as the new owners of CrossFit Iron Hammer. They are not only long time members, but long time friends. They bring fresh perspective, passion, and vision for whatâs ahead. The gym is in great hands, and weâre excited to take a step back and watch it continue to grow.
With so much love and gratitude,
Brad and Erin Durden
