We love our customer support! As we are growing here at an unbelievable rate Sarah Phillips and myself ( Scott Phillips ) still intend on keeping our shop a small little mom and pops shop! We want to see we have our hands on everything that comes through our little shop. We want to process meats, enjoy the art of butchery, sausage making, smoking meats, curing meats, and the artistry that comes along with it! Not managing people, and hope they get it right as it goes out the door. We will keep things small as its growing at an unbelievable rate! Also we will keep processing everything that comes in independently, you will get your deer back, with as much as we can get off of the carcass! We will not consider a mass grind at the end of the day and weigh out a ratio that we think people should get back. We will continue running your deer from start to finish like we always have. We also have started transitioning into building our own seasonings and sausage mixes. This shop started out as an organic alternative to help me beat multiple sclerosis, and as we have been seeing the addition of soy powder, soy protein, anti caking powders and other preservatives added to pre mixed seasonings to make the powder itself more shelf stable, we have turned to organic herbs and seasonings to make our own seasonings in house. Feed back is important, please don't hesitate if there's flavor profiles you would like to see or try. There's more to come with this as well, we are looking to make some of our flavoring available to the general public! Some how some way we hit Google this past year, thank you all again, if you would, and you're happy with what you've got back, if you would pull us up on Google and give us a review. Thank you! We had an awesome deer processing season, thank you all! We did want to remind everyone we do process wild/feral hogs throughout the rest of the year, and not only can they be brought in, we can schedule direct from the field drop offs, night drop offs, and also hanging time in one of our walk in coolers. So after a absolutely wonderful season at the shop, and a long stay at the tiny house there. (Since the 2nd week in September) We finally made it home, up on the mountain! What a home coming, I opened my eyes to a absolutely gorgeous view this morning! Sarah Phillips and I hunkered down at shop for the ice storm, but wasn't missing this.

Sarah Phillips and I are prepared for the last huraha on the deer season here at Backwoods Processing of Westminster SC .

Holliday Hours.
12- 24 Christmas Eve, We will be accepting deer out of the field up until 11am. Cooler drop offs, and pick ups will be done up to 12pm.
12-25 Christmas Day, We will not be open at all, for drop offs of any kind, nor pick ups.
12-26, we will be back open to our regular hours, we have worked hard to clear one entire walk in locker/cooler to accommodate as many deer as possible for the end of the season, we also will be open for the final youth day coming up in January. Although we may have to schedule drop offs, we hope to be taking our grand daughter for her first hunt. Be well, Merry Christmas, and thank you all for your support, and good luck on the final days of the hunting season.

We want to remind everyone that we will be taking deer as long as we have room from all recent customers tomorrow till 11 am.

☆Basic processing only, burger or sausage, stew meat, cubed steak, and/or roast. Burger and sausage packaged in bulk, and sealed in standard freezer quality meat chubs. Average packaging is one pound packs, unless otherwise noted.
●Roast, cubed steak, and stew meat all gets vacuum sealed. Cubed steak and stew meat is packaged in approximately 1 pound packaging.
●Get back what you brought, there's no secret people dress and treat their deer differently, no question you get what you brought. No numbers or calculations to figure out how much meat/burger/sausage you get, each deer is run separately and kept separate throughout processing procedure.
● We cut out all bloodshot, damaged tissue, or bruised meat when processing our own. We will treat everyone's deer, as we would our own. No bloody meat mixed with burger or sausage.
■ WHATS EXPECTED PREVIOUS TO DROP OFF.
▪︎Make contact with me to confirm drop off, and opening. 864-324-6941 (if no answer leave message)
▪︎dress and skin deer, or we can take straight out of field or just gutted (there will be a refrigerated cooler to store your cooler in upon arrival and we have 2 walk-ins to hang.
Better care of your deer from start means better quality meat as a finished product.
▪︎We are a small outfit, while we are happy to gain your business and strive for quality processing, we can fill up quickly, and can't store meat long term. We understand people have busy lives, after all its hunting season. We won't call and expect you to drop what you are doing in the minute to pick up, however we will come to a reasonable time limit for pick up or deer will be donated or sold for processing fee if you're a no show.

Nothing beats knowing exactly where your food came from and how it got to your table.

We will be taking deer from regular customers. We will not be taking on new clients/customers at this time. May change after Thanksgiving.
Our hours for Thanksgiving Day is from 8am to 11am.
