Dear Dojo Family,
I hope everyone is digging out and staying safe. I am modifying the schedule for tonight only, 1/27/2026, so that staff and students can get home earlier, in light of the danger of black ice this evening, and reports of dangerous driving conditions.

4:30 class will proceed as normal.
5:30 class instead of sparring, will be a traditional class for teens and adults. This combined class will replace the 6:30 and 7:30 classes on tonight’s schedule.

Thank you all for your flexibility, tomorrow we will return to our regular schedule.

A Bridge of Culture and Friendship - The Okinawa Karate Seminar served as a prelude to the 3rd Okinawa Karate World Tournament. The world tournament is to be held in Okinawa from July 30 – August 2, 2026 and welcomes participants from around the world.

Our seminar celebrated the shared spirit of “One World, One Karate”, strengthening cultural ties between Okinawa and the Washington, DC area.
