Adaptive Play Circle: An Inclusive Meet-Up for Kids & Caregivers!

Join us for a welcoming evening where every child's unique way of playing is celebrated! Led by Dr. Paige Ryan, a pediatric physical therapist with Foundation First Physical Therapy, this inclusive meetup creates a judgment-free space for children with disabilities and their caregivers to explore, connect, and play freely.

Discover adaptive play strategies, build confidence, and find community with families who truly understand the journey. Includes guided equipment exploration, free play, and caregiver connection circles.

Looking ahead: This meet-up is also a first step toward bringing back a full second round of Dr. Ryan's Adaptive Play Group, the 4-week series that had such a meaningful impact on families last time. As Dr. Ryan describes it, caregivers who joined the first round left with more than play ideas: they learned to read their child's needs in the moment, picked up small, practical strategies for daily life, and found real connection with other families walking a similar path. We're hoping this Play Circle helps us gauge interest and bring the full course back soon, so come say hello and let us know you're interested!

🎒 Starting This Week! Pre-K Prep: NEXT STEPS! 🎒

Is your little one getting ready for their first school experience? Our Pre-K Prep program is designed just for that; a gentle, play-based introduction to the classroom, built for kiddos ages 2-4.

📣 We're excited to announce our Wednesday group is officially starting, and we're ready to enroll now! If Wednesday doesn't work for your family, no worries, just let us know your preferred day on the Interest Form and we'll keep you posted as new groups open.

In this 3-hour drop-off class, children get the chance to:
✨ Build confidence being away from their caregiver
✨ Learn what it feels like to be part of a classroom
✨ Practice social skills with their peers
✨ Grow gross & fine motor skills
✨ Learn to communicate their wants and needs

We know every child moves at their own pace, and this program meets them right where they are, through play, not pressure. Because while we're building readiness skills, the REAL goal is always fun. 💙

Tween Night Announcement: New school year, new coach!

Join us for an evening in the gym where we invite our BIG KIDS to come play together, share their interests, and burn some energy! This is a great chance for our tweens and teens to find community, make friends, and just be themselves in a space that gets them. This fall, our monthly T(w)een Nights will be facilitated by Coach Jordan to help supervise and encourage connection.

And a reminder- We have recently changed the format- previously the gym stayed open for all families, but now we are asking that families without older children attend an evening with standard Open Play hours to give our t(w)eens the freedom to play BIG!

We consider the "tween" years to start at 8 years old! And for families with younger siblings, don't worry, younger siblings are still welcome to join (They are used to big kid energy!)

Meet Coach Jordan! Jordan recently graduated with her Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and is preparing to begin her career as a pediatric OT. She has experience working with children of a variety of ages and abilities, and especially loves creating fun, inclusive environments where kids can feel comfortable being themselves. Jordan has been part of the WRTS team as a Birthday Party Attendant and Drop Off Care Provider, and is excited to step into the T(w)een Night Coach role!

Walk-Ins are welcome, or let us know you're coming by booking a "T(w)een Night" ticket though our online booking system! (Standard "Open Play" tickets will not show as available to help keep the gym free for our tweens and teens!)
