As the Program Director of Westfield Child Development Center, this event means so much more to me than just a day of bingo.
WCDC has been a part of my life for longer than I ever could have imagined. I attended this daycare as a child, came back and worked here while I was in college, and now I have the privilege of serving as the Program Director. To be able to give back to a place that helped shape me—and now helps shape so many little lives in our community—is incredibly special to me.
As a small-town nonprofit childcare center, every single donation, sponsorship, ticket purchased, basket donated, gift card given, share, and person who has supported this event truly means the world to us. We may be small, but we are MIGHTY.
Our children, our current and future families, and our hardworking staff deserve updated resources, new supplies, improvements, and everything we can provide to make WCDC the best possible place for children to learn, grow, and be loved. Fundraisers like this also help provide the financial support necessary to continue doing something incredibly important—keeping the doors of our daycare open and serving the families who depend on us.
My hope is that this is only the beginning of an event we can continue to grow and hold annually for years to come. Seeing our community come together to support our little center has already made all of the work behind the scenes worth it.
100% of the proceeds from our Purse Bingo benefit the children & staff of WCDC. When you purchase a ticket, sponsor a purse, donate an item, or simply show up and support us, you are supporting a local nonprofit and directly investing back into the children, families, and childcare professionals in our community.
We cannot wait to see everyone this Sunday, September 13th! Doors open at 12:00 PM and bingo starts at 1:00 PM!
