Throughout the 18-hole public golf course and banquet facility, one will meet up with a member of this close working family. manages the golf business while brother Mark is the Clubhouse Manager and also works on the grounds. Another brother, Jim Perez, is the Green Superintendent while sister Brenda (Perez) Coggin handles the arrangements for the banquets. East Mountain was founded in 1963 by Ted

Perez Sr. and his wife Maria. The Banquet Hall was founded in 1983, expanded in 1984, and again in 1998, and has been known for exceptional quality food and service ever since. The Banquet Hall can accommodate up to 250 guests for weddings, showers and parties. Our Head Chef, Patric Coggin, has over 30 years of experience and has been the only chef East Mountain has ever had. All sit down dinners and buffets are prepared on the premises by Patric and his staff. For the future, we expect the golf course and the banquet facility to grow and expand, but Family will always be the foundation upon which East Mountain Country Club was built.

We are enormously proud to have been elected to the Western Mass Golf Hall of Fame, along with Jim Cline, Dr. Bill Dupont, Alison Lucey, the late Dick Stranahan and the late Milton Reach Jr. (To make this award even more special, Milt Reach was both Ted and Jim's golf coach at Westfield High School). The golf tournament and dinner/award ceremony will be held Thursday September 17, 2026 here at East Mountain Country Club. Please call the Pro Shop at 413-568-1539 if you are interested in playing in the golf tournament or coming to the dinner/award ceremony.
