🌟 5 Simple Tips to Stay Energized and Feel Great During Holiday Travel 🌟

Holiday travel can be exciting, but long flights, road trips, and busy schedules often leave us feeling drained and bloated. Here are some easy wellness tips to help you arrive feeling your best:

1️⃣Hydrate before you caffeinate 💧☕
Start your day (and travel) with plenty of water. Airplane cabins and winter air are super dehydrating, and caffeine can make it worse. Drinking water first helps combat fatigue, headaches, and keeps your energy steady.

2️⃣Pack easy protein snacks 🥜🍖
Keep hunger at bay and blood sugar stable with portable high-protein options like nuts, beef or turkey jerky, protein bars, cheese sticks, or hard-boiled eggs. These keep you full longer than sugary treats and prevent energy crashes.

3️⃣Eat protein early in the day 🍳
Kick off with a protein-rich breakfast (think eggs, Greek yogurt, or a smoothie with protein powder). It boosts satiety, stabilizes blood sugar, and gives you sustained energy for the journey ahead.

4️⃣Move your body whenever you can 🚶‍♀️✈️

December reality check: Between school programs, wrapping gifts, stomach bugs and keeping the kids alive… my workouts have taken a backseat this week. 😅

But here’s what I’m reminding myself (and you!): Progress > Perfection. Even a 10-minute walk or a few squats while the cookies bake counts.

The REAL fresh start is coming in January with my 4 week Fresh Start 2026 Challenge—and I’m adding NEW group class times to make it easier for busy moms like us to show up.💪
